I passionately believe in the Cosmetology Industry!  I know that within the large and small beauty salons, barber shops and spas across america you will find licensed professionals that love what they do and never wanted to do anything else.  They have the power to change lives through their touch, creativity and compassion. 

As a student of Cosmetology, you may merely look at this path as a stepping stone to a higher education at a university.  Or perhaps as I stated above, becoming a licensed cosmetologist may be the only career path for you.  The reason you've chosen Cosmetology isn't nearly as important as the goal.  In order to reach that goal, we will work together for 1000 hours over the course of 2 years to ensure that you excel on your written and practical exam for licensure, and also to make certain that you receive an education that will prepare you as you graduate from Palestine High School and enter the work force or continue your education. 

My personal goal as a teacher AND as a hair stylist is to create opportunities for people to improve their lives.  I was very blessed to be able to reach that goal over the course of 20+ years standing behind the chair and working in the salon.   Moving on and becoming a teacher and sharing what I've learned with High School students has been extremely rewarding!
