Harley Helm Meet Miss Harley Helm who is a senior from Rusk High School. Harley says that her Mom owns a salon and she would like to follow in her footsteps. She plans to attend college after graduation. She would like to work for her Mom and then eventually take over the business!	Sarah Bingham Sarah Bingham is a senior from Rusk High School. She says that she has always loved "playing" with hair and making people feel beautiful. After getting her Cosmetology license, Sarah says that she would like to pursue obtaining her instructors license because she believes she would like to teach and also have customers in the salon.	Shelby Songer Senior Stylist Shelby Songer says that her favorite thing to do is foil highlights. "The best thing about Cosmetology is putting a smile on someones face" she says. After graduation, Shelby plans to attend college and possibly pursue becoming an English Teacher.
Kari Missildine My name is Kari Missildine, and I'm a senior at Palestine High School. I plan on getting my Cosmetology license this year so I can work in a salon, while going to college to get my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I feel like my strongest area in Cosmetology is color.	Selenia Estrada My name is Selenia Estrada, and I'm a senior at Palestine High School. I plan on getting my cosmetology license to work at a nail salon, while also going to college to be in the medical field. My strongest area in Cosmetology is artifical nails and nail art.	Natali Barber Natali Barber thinks the most important part of her job is to smile. She has enjoyed learning about hair color and looks forward to making this her specialty in the salon.
Angela Norman Anglea Norman is interested in making cosmetology her career. She excels in her professional and innovative makeup applications and haircutting. She says, "I want to learn all I can in this profession."	Aly Hamby Aly feels like she was born to stand behind a styling chair and make people beautiful. She excels in the area of cuts and colors and looks forward to one day owning her own salon and day spa.	Mariana Madera Mariana Madera is a proud member of the PHS Cosmetology Class of 2016. She would like to own her own salon one day and feels that her strongest area is styling hair. She is amazing with bridal and special event styles.
Ashlynn Hillstead Ashlynn loves hair, nails and animals although not necessarily in that order. She would like to specialize in the area of hair and nail care and plans to attend college and study either veterinary medicine or photography. She wants to become skilled with hair styling so she can fix her own kids hair one day!	Jessica Haddock Jessica Haddock is in her 3rd year in our Cosmetology program and it definitely shows! She is very skilled with blow dry styles and facial treatments. She looks forward to a career in the salon as a hair stylist.	Kerriann Wright My name is Kerriann Wright. I am a senior at Palestine High School and I am in cosmetology. I have my certification for my manicure license. I also am interested in doing hair, I would really like to learn more about foils and hair styles. I also would like to learn how to do men's hair and I would like to learn about lash extensions and eyebrow shaping.
Ayanna Forward My name is Ayanna Forward. I plan on becoming a cosmetologist like my mom. I want my cosmetologist license so I can work in salons as I go to college and get my degree in criminal justice. I would like to be an all around cosmetologist and not just specialize in one certain area.	JaSharla Stafford Senior Stylist Ja'Sharla Stafford has a gift for making people feel their best. She loves to braid and looks forward to mastering the art of haircoloring.

Cosmetology II

Emiliano Alvarez Emiliano is a proud member of the class of 2017. He is most interested in learning haircuts, but may also see himself becoming a colorist. After high school he plans to attend college and become a business owner.	Abigal Clark Abigal Clark is a junior at Palestine High School. When she was 5 years old she fell in love with french braids but her Mom didn't know how to braid her hair. Soon after, she learned how to braid herself and has been styling hair ever since. Later she discovered a talent for nails and believes she may specialize in that area. She doesn't have specific plans after high school, but knows she wants to continue her education by going to college. We expect to see her in the salon!	Cierra Lynn Catchot Cierra Lynn is a junior at Palestine High School who states that she is passionate about hair and makeup. Her uncle is a huge inspiration for her as he has carved out quite a career for himself in the cosmetology field as a makeup artist. Cierra excels at thinking outside of the box. Her creativity will take her far!
Michella Clemmons Palestine High School Junior Michella Clemmons says that she loves Cosmetology because it helps her express herself more. "There isn't a right or wrong way to do a customers hair, but is more about your own creativity", she wisely says. She continues by saying, "being in this class soothes my mental stress by letting me BE ME." Her future plans include college and owning a salon.	Caitlyn Davenport Caitlyn Davenport says that she most looks forward to learning how to color hair and plans to make a career out of cutting, coloring and styling hair. Her interest in Cosmetology was born through experimenting with her OWN hair color and style.	Michala Landers Michala Landers is a PHS Junior who loves helping people and making people smile. She excels at braiding and styling and looks forward to using her Cosmetology license to support herself and pay for her own college education.
Yaklin Martinez Yaklin Martinez is a junior who looks forward to figuring out which cosmetology specialty area is for her.	Megan McCubbins Junior Megan McCubbins states that she decided to take this course because she has been interested in doing hair, makeup and nails for a while and realized that she is pretty good at it. Continuing she explains, "this class gives me a chance to fulfill my dreams. My Aunt is my inspiration. She is just so pretty and she loves to do hair!"	Madelyn Moore Madelyn Moore says that her cousin Amberly was a hair stylist while she was growing up and she has always been interested in what she does. This High School Junior decided to take this class and see if it would be a good fit for her as well.
Summer Oden Junior Summer Oden has a family inspiration that encouraged her to look into Cosmetology as a career choice. Her cousin is a stylist who has spent a lot of time with Summer as a client. Ms. Oden hopes to earn her Cosmetology Operator License, continue her education by attending college and one day, own a salon of her own!	Valerie Sanchez Valerie Sanchez is a proud member of the class of 2017 at Palestine High School. Valerie says that many people have told her that she is talented with hair and nails and that is one of the main reasons she decided to take Cosmetology classes. She immediately decided that all of those people were right and now hopes to earn her license and work in a salon doing hair and nails.	Ester Santiago Ms. Santiago says that she decided to enroll in Cosmetology classes because she loves tout and style hair. Ester plans to work in a salon after graduating and would like to move to the San Antonio area to continue her education. Her dream would be to one day own a salon in that area.
Samantha Vargas Sammy loves everything to do with hair and nails! She wants to pass her exams to earn her license and then hopes to continue her education by going to college. Working in a salon is a fantastic way to earn a living while in college.
